thanks for the appreciation, dearies. Medyo kulang ang aking photos with descriptions...here goes. I included my favorite snack of all time - fried bananas which is called baduya (in naga), or sinapot (in albay). We were driving back to manila when we passed by this stand in Ligao, Albay. I was taking photos of the bananas being cooked and these three kids were watching. Galing ng kanilang "arrangement". The menu that i included here is from Mikainan, a clean eating place along Del Gallego in camarines sur. Food is nothing extraordinary, but the toilet is clean, comfort room talaga. I took the Mayon photo when it was very bright, i think at around 3 in the afternoon, and thought i wasnt able to capture the beauty of it. So please go to Bicol, and see how beautiful the region is. And Pinks...this beach is in Bacacay, Albay, and around 10 hours of easy driving from Manila. Bicol is huge - it starts with Camarines Norte, which is next to Quezon, and to get there is shorter, siguro in 6 hours..

Sinapot! Masiram talaga, nothing like it. Thanks for this great album, excellent pictures of Bikol. It's been almost 10 years since I last visited my hometown in Albay and I really should visit soon. Regards from Florida.
