for everyone
Together with some students from Tokyo Tech and UP, we visited an Aeta community in San Marcelino, Zambales. Although we stayed there for a night only, the impressions that I got are for a lifetime. It was definitely a good break from the hustle and bustle of city life.

I love this bamboo walled hut , with coconut leaves as roof. I am wondering if some sort of a modular kind of hut, that can easily be packed and shipped out, be part of a Philippine industry.

I know that they have this kind of material used for "bars", that home owners usually put in their patio. The manufaturers do not use the real nipa leaves (nipa hut?) or coconut leaves though because it is too flammable. They use a fake kind, made of plastic straws.

"different but not really" ... something like the theme of

and CRASH ( http://www.crashfilm.com/)
